RESEARCH STUDY

 

WE ARE CONDUCTING A RESEARCH STUDY OF THE EFFECTS OF MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS ON SHORT-TERM MEMORY

 

The study involves one visit of approximately 4 hours at the NIH campus in Bethesda Maryland.

 

The visit will include:

1) testing on a computer of memory and attention abilities.

2) evaluation of the function of areas in the brain that are involved in memory by using magnetoencephalography (MEG) during performance of these memory and attention tasks.

 

Subjects who have the following may join:

¥ A clinically definite diagnosis of relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis

¥ Are otherwise in good mental and physical health

¥ Are between the ages of 18 to 60 years old.

 

 

Subjects will be compensated for their time and effort with $70
