Research Interests

Although an enormous quantity of information enters the visual system at the retina, we clearly do not, and cannot, perceive or act on all these inputs at any one time. Attention is critical in that it allows us to direct processing resources both efficiently and flexibly. My interests lie in understanding both the sources that influence attentional guidance and the effects that result from this attentional allocation.
